What's a infection Hepatitis C? You have to know! Read on!

This disease is very scary ~ Because it can be infected very easy through someone's blood. So anyone out there, be careful when you create a tattoo okay ? :) Much better if you not create that tattoo huhu.

What is Hepatitis C ?
Hepatitis means swelling (inflammation) at heart. Hepatitis divide into some types such as Hepatitis A, B, and C. Hepatitis C is disease that caused by virus. You can be infected by virus through someone's blood who has been plagued.

How Does Hepatitis C Spread?
You may be plagued with hepatitis C through:
-Sharing needle injections if you inject drugs in the body. This is the most common way hepatitis C spread.Budgeted half of  the drugs collectors that use the needle injections afflicts  with Hepatitis C. (Hey hey,if you had money to buy drugs, then why don't you just buy needle injections with your own money and don't share it with you friend or you will die xD)

-Exposure to contaminated blood in the workplace. For example, if you work in the healthcare industry, there is the possibility of skin contact with needles hurt accidentally.

-Contaminated needles used for tattooing tattoo or piercing.

-Medical or dental treatment in some countries where the disease is much happening and equipment may not be sterilized properly.

Hepatitis C virus can survive for weeks in dried blood. This means you can get infected through shavers, scissors, nail or tooth brush that you share with someone who has the virus.

You can also get hepatitis C through sexual contact with someone who has the virus. If your husband is suffering from hepatitis C, you may want to do tests to see if you also have hepatitis C.

What Are Some Ways To Know If I have Hepatitis C?
The only way to be sure if you have hepatitis C is with a blood test. Unlike hepatitis B, test for hepatitis C is not a routine test for pregnant women. You should ask your doctor to do it.

If you have hepatitis C, you may not have any symptoms, or perhaps very mild symptoms or vague, or mistaken for something else . But the virus can damage the liver in silence. If left untreated, hepatitis C can eventually cause liver disease (cirrhosis), liver cancer but also.

First time you get infected, you may feel very tired and unwell, as if you catch a cold. Quite rare for people with hepatitis C to get jaundice, which is a sign that the liver is not working properly.

If you have chronic hepatitis, you may have uncertain symptoms.
These include :

-extreme fatigue
-muscle aches
-queasiness
-depression or anxiety
-pain in your upper right abdomen (where your heart is )
-poor memory or concentration.

If you know that you have hepatitis C, or you think you may be at risk, it is important for you to discuss with your doctor so that he can take steps to protect you and your unborn baby

Can I Receive Treatment For Hepatitis C During Pregnancy?
You may not be able to take medication that is commonly used to treat hepatitis C. This is because drugs called interferon and ribavirin can be very dangerous to your unborn baby and can cause severe deformities in babies.

Important that you avoid alcohol because it may increase the risk of liver damage. A healthy diet and quitting smoking is also a good way to keep yourself and your baby's health.

If your doctor has confirmed that you have hepatitis C, you also need to learn how to protect others from contracting the virus. Another thing to think about is whether the husband or other family members should be tested or not.

Does Hepatitis C Will Affect My Pregnancy?
There is not much we know about the impact of hepatitis C on pregnancy. But we know that babies born to mothers with hepatitis C are more likely to:
-Born prematurely
-Small at birth
-Need special care after birth.

If you are pregnant, suffering from hepatitis C and are overweight, you are more likely to have diabetes.

What is The Affect On My Unborn Baby If I Have Hepatitis C ?
Chances are you transmit hepatitis C to your baby is small, both when he was still in the womb or at birth. The probability of your baby getting hepatitis C from you is about five in 100.

However, if you also have HIV or if the level of hepatitis C virus in your body is high, chances are your baby is infected with hepatitis C is higher.

So far, we do not know how to stop hepatitis C from infected from the mother to her baby. Caesarean section can not avoid the possibility of this virus to infect your baby. Therefore, your doctor may not advise you to undergo a caesarean section.

Although the possibility of your baby contracting hepatitis C is small, he must undergo tests for hepatitis C when he was one year. For most babies, this test will show that they do not have the virus. Sometimes the doctor may recommend this test conducted earlier.

If your baby is suffering from hepatitis C, she should bring with regular checkups, blood tests and ultrasound scans possible.

It is safe for you to breastfeed your baby if you have hepatitis C. Infection to the baby usually does not occur through breastfeeding.

What Type Of Hepatitis C Screening For Detection Of Hepatitis C?
1. Examination of liver function known as serum ALT/SGPT :O wth
is ALT/SGPT ? Anyone know ? If you guys don't know, just
google about it to read more info about Hepatitis okay ? :)

2. Examination of anti hepatitis C (HCV).
3. Liver biopsy.

What Are The Problems Faced By Patients With Hepatitis C?
When a patient tested positive for hepatitis C screening for the virus, they need moral support from family and society.

Patients must be referred either to the gastroenterology or hepatology specialist for further examination and further treatment and drug therapy. Thus, patients with hepatitis C should not be excluded from society because of a virus disease is only spread through blood transfusions and not through touch or speech.

What Is The Nature and Type of Treatment?
1. Get plenty of rest.
2. Stop taking liquor.
3. Eat a balanced and nutritious diet.
4. Transplantation. However, it is only done in Europe and the
   United States.

5. Medication supplied by a doctor.

What Are The Steps For The Prevention of Hepatitis C?
1. Adopt a healthy lifestyle.
2. Stay away from casual sex.
3. Be careful when piercing, tattooing, shaving and acupuncture
treatment to ensure that the equipment used is completely

   clean and safe.

4. Stay away from drugs. (don't inject drugs in your body, just
inject something that very interesting. maybe juice ? haha :D)

So, we know that drugs and tattoo are dangerous and we can prevent from inject drugs in our body or create tattoo? Just prevent to do that things before its too late :)
