Consequences Of Fossil Fuel Consumption

Today my article about fossil fuel. Yeah fossil fuel are renewable, but it took a long time to become a fossil fuel right ? Let's read about this to get more information :)

What Is A Fossil Fuel ?
Fossil fuels are fuels that are formed from natural processes such as anaerobic decomposition of buried dead creatures . Age life and the formation of fossil fuels typically around millions of years , the longest more than 650 million years. Fossil fuels contain carbon. Among the types of fossil fuels are coal, petroleum , and natural gas . (wow! 650 million years, before my ancestors were born)

Fossil fuels consist of volatile materials with carbon to hydrogen ratio low as methane , liquid petroleum and non-volatile substances that are formed almost entirely of pure carbon, such as coal. Methane found in hydrocarbon fields, private, concerned with oil, or in the form of methane. Fossil fuel formed from fossilized plants after exposure to heat and pressure in the Earth's crust for millions of years. Fossil fuels are non-renewable resources as time consuming millions of years to form, let alone spend savings faster than the discovery of new deposits.

Pollution from fossil fuels
Combustion of fossil fuels produces around 21.3 billion tan carbon dioxide ( CO2 ) per year, ( really ? so where's oxygen ? :( we need to plant trees to get oxygen) but it is estimated that natural processes can only absorb about half that amount, then the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases recorded 10.65 billion in a year. Carbon dioxide is one of the greenhouse gases forced shine strengthen, thus contributing to global warming that the Earth's average surface temperature rises as a result

Scientific research on the effects of cancer-causing carcinogens, substances, especially lead to health has long been established thousands of years of civilization since the Roman, Greek and Chinese. It is the existence situations where lead poisoning in the community at that time due to constant exposure to the elements involved.

Lead is readily available, easily extracted and coupled with other ingredients. It includes additional material to be slowing down the process of burning fuels such as gasoline.

However, its broader impact on health is not good . It is proved through scientific discovery scientists still continue today. United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that a person suffering from lead poisoning when measured blood lead levels as low as 10 micrograms per 100 milliliters.

Children are more susceptible to the influence of the diffusion of lead as the nervous system of children still grow to adulthood is very easily influenced environment.

At the same time children's nervous system is still not perfect to repair any damage caused by environmental toxins, including lead and mercury :O

Lead co- combustion of fuels such as gasoline in vehicles will produce a variety of substances out of the exhaust such as lead oxide, lead sulfide and lead carbonate that will further pollute the air and seeped into the ground.

Unlike other pollutants, lead has a long life in the environment can disrupt the food chain to humans.

Thus, when it is absorbed into the soil, it will also contaminate water sources eventually become a source of human food, plants and animals thus may affect their health.

More serious health problems will occur when substances such as leaded gasoline consistently exposed to human. It will get into the blood system and further to the bone and nervous system.

Long-term exposure to the elements can damage the human central nervous system permanently. They include failure of brain function and blood circulation disorders and kidney. In addition, diseases such as anemia, fertility problems and high blood easily occur if the level of lead in the body increases.

Lead poisoning can cause not only mental disorders but also shortens the human lifespan. Children are the most susceptible than adults who among other causes of cognitive dysfunction of children failing mind to think, remember and process information accurately.

Sometimes patients do not realize that they are experiencing these symptoms of lead poisoning.

Benefits use of renewable resources
There are a variety of materials can be used as an alternative to reduce the use of fossil fuels such as solar energy ( sunlight), water energy, wind energy, hydrogen, and oil palm biomass.

Thus, we can take advantage of sunlight as an energy source to replace electricity. Although the high cost of the solar system and some areas do not get the sun in the long run because the weather is uncertain, but the benefits can not be ignored.

Solar energy can reduce air pollution and greenhouse effect and can be stored for use electricity at night. It can also be used to use a lot of lighting poles in Malaysia.

Hydro energy derived from flowing water and can be converted into electrical energy . This energy cater for agriculture . Malaysian land rich in flora and fauna has made our country as an area with a continuous water supply .

Nearly 90 percent of the renewable energy sources comes from hydropower. The dam was used as a hydropower plant to store river water.

Energy advantages include it free of charge. Water can also be stored in dams and ready for use at the time required and no polluting waste. This energy is also more reliable than wind, sun and waves, as well as be used as the fuel that drives the vehicle.

Biofuel is also an alternative fuel to fossil fuel produced from organic materials. Biofuels can be produced directly from plants or industrial, commercial, domestic, or agricultural.

In conclusion, an efficient resource management system should be implemented to ensure continuous supply and use for human consumption in the future.

Fuel for the future
We need to ensure the future of fuel in minimal impact to the environment. Solar and biomass energy is one source that can be studied and developed. It is important for us to improve the knowledge in this field so that progress in this area is not cut off half way.

Eco-friendly car technology should be developed in our country . There are technologies such as hybrid cars that use half the fuel and half the electrical energy, solar cars and more. Local car maker in Malaysia should strive to 'greening' their technology and provide Malaysians and their institutions towards 'green future'.

We also noted , in Brazil , LPG is also used for heavy vehicles. To reduce dependence on fossil fuels, biogas extraction system from agricultural waste, animal husbandry and sewage should be explored. Efficient engines will also ensure efficient use of fuel.

Although we find crude oil, we should not forget that it is entirely our responsibility for ensuring the future for generations to come. Do not spend it.

We need to take care of our earth or we are going to get consequences isn't it ? So keep our environment clean and don't make trouble with my earth >:] or you will get pounded  huhu.
